Healing in the Name of Jesus of Nazareth

Silver and gold I do not have but what I do have I give you.

Acts 3:6

Recently a brother in Christ reached out to me, “Good morning George. I am in need of a laying on of hands. I have some issues on my back that need healing. You have the gift of healing. So if you have time today I’d appreciate it.” As we were visiting, my friend reminded me of the above verse that Peter said to the blind beggar. Instead of giving him money, Peter healed him in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Likewise, we called on the mighty name of Jesus to heal my friend. We claimed our inheritance of sons of the most high Jesus Christ and my friend desired and believed that Jesus could heal him. Moved with compassion, I anointed my brother with holy water and holy oil and with the final blessing, “By your faith you are healed in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for the gift of healing.
