John 14:18 (NLT) Daily Devotion Scripture

“No, I will not abandon you as orphans — I will come to you.” — John 14:18 (NLT)

Have you ever felt as though life’s challenges were drowning you? To where even to stand firm was difficult because of devastating winds blown by troubles and hardships. I pray that despite the chaos in life, you can find peace in knowing that Jesus loves you. He always does. Jesus not only notices your hardship, but he also cares about it. Furthermore, he not only cares, but also takes action.

God came here on earth and became flesh through Jesus Christ. Jesus not only understood our difficulties, but He also went through them. He took on all of our troubles and died on the cross for our sins.

You may feel abandoned at times, but you are not. Because even in the darkest hour on the stormiest night, God sees you, cares for you, and is by your side. “I will come to you,” Jesus says (John 14:18 NLT), and His promise is still true today.

Remind yourself that Jesus cares.
