Joyfully Seeking the Will of God

Today’s Daily Devotion

By Dr. George J. Ceremuga

When our will lines up with the will of God, nothing is going to stop us. The Apostle Paul tells us in Romans 12:1-2, “I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship. Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.

Do not conform yourselves to this age but transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and pleasing and perfect.
Romans 12:2

How do we know if we are doing the will of God? First, live for the kingdom of God and not of the world. First seek his kingdom and righteousness and all will be afforded unto you (Mathew 6:33). The “great potter” is continually molding us, the clay. Before Jesus sends us out as missionary disciples, he patiently teaches us how to face the world with kindness, wisdom, and strength to persevere with the conscience and science necessary for our mission.

Silence is the classroom where we hear the words of the Lord.
