My Trust Is In The Lord!

Today’s Daily Devotion – December 5 2022

By Dr. George J. Ceremuga

Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. — Psalm 20:7

I recently traveled to San Jose to share “God Loves the Children” and the Creator model of healthcare. On both legs of my trip there were mechanical issues and tight connecting flights. On the way out, I casually said to Jesus. “It would be nice to have a cart waiting for me when I disembark this plane.” It was not a request but a suggestion. I was loaded down with two carry-ons and a twenty-minute sprint to the next gate. True to form, God knew what I needed and a cart facing in the direction of my travels was waiting. I arrived at my gate and soon thereafter we started to board the plane.

On my return trip, I was amused by the same predicament. “Ok God, what are you going to do now”? This time, I was blessed to have the connecting gate three gates down from my arriving gate. God always knows our needs and the desires of our heart. Thank you, God, for your many graces and mercies. Indeed, we serve a powerful God!
