Prayer Remains the Best Medicine - Daily Devotion

God did not destine us for wrath, but to gain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. — 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6, 9-11

Many in the medical community are divided on the best way through Covid-19. There are stark differences in treatment approaches within communities and regions of our country and in the world. Now there are threats of government mandates and other means to control and spread fear. Censorship is not allowing both sides of the argument. Recent communication with a few colleagues to be open to both sides of treatment and not just on experimental vaccines and therapeutics was not well received.

With discernment from the Holy Spirit, it was my moral obligation to reach out to these physicians when I heard aggressive outpatient treatment was not being offered with two front line medications that have been on the market for decades. In fact, with their safety profiles in use around the world, what do we have to lose? As an American Front-Line Doctor, we have millions of success stories with early outpatient treatment. Through the grace of God, all patients that we treated early as outpatients recovered without needing hospitalization. Perhaps we can make room for both. Seed planted…now up to the Holy Spirit to move hearts. Prayer remains the best medicine.

God remains the great physician.
