The Powers of Heaven Will Be Shaken

Stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand.

Luke 21:28

In Luke’s Gospel 21:20-28, Jesus describes a time when Jerusalem will be plunged into unrelenting violence. It appears nobody will escape the “terrible calamity” set to come upon the earth and the wrathful judgment upon His people. Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentile are fulfilled.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. So how will you respond? Stand erect and raise your heads and fix your eyes on Jesus in prayer. Our prayers have power. Join your heart with all believers so you can shine like lights in the world. Let your peace draw others to the Lord. A candle looses nothing by lighting another candle.
