Last year I was blessed to spend 53 days in the Holy Land. I witnessed apartheid and many social injustices. In my discussions with the common people, they desire peace, unity and equality. “Combatants for Peace is a grassroots movement of Israelis and Palestinians, working together to end the occupation and bring peace, equality and freedom to our homeland. Committed to joint nonviolence since our inception in 2006, we use civil resistance, education and other creative means of activism to transform systems of oppression and build a free and peaceful future from the ground up.”

In a world that prides itself on power, possessions, greed, and exploitation, Combatants for Peace brings to light the goodness of humanity in the non-violent expression of their faith through hope and love. We know that prayer is and always will be the best medicine and that God has the power to bring good out of every situation—and in His wisdom, He will do it.
