Unconditional Love is the Greatest Healer!
May the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all.
1 Thessalonians 3:12
The apostle Paul writes this letter to the newly converted Gentiles to Christianity.
“May the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, just as we have for you, so as to strengthen your hearts, to be blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his holy ones.”
Paul’s encouragement is a way to strengthen them and makes them holy before God when the Lord Jesus returns in glory. Additionally, Paul exhorts them to continue to do what they have been doing but “even more.” Their actions have pleased the Lord and he motivates them to stand firm in their faith and hope in Jesus, even in times of uncertainty.
