It’s Always Time for “Our Father”

This is how you are to pray: Our Father who art in heaven.

Matthew 6:9

Prayer is our lifeline and Jesus is our anchor. Prayer is and always will be the best medicine. Prayer draws us closer to God; directs our steps making us more like Jesus. Jesus set the bar high placing God first through prayer. Reminder, in the Lord’s prayer, Jesus gives us a call to action: “If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions” (VV.14-15).

This is how you are to pray: “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil” (VV.9-13).
