How do you create a movement? First you need a vision that inspires and motivates. The “lone nut” leads by example as it is amazing what you can accomplish when you give God all the credit. A movement starts with the first follower principle. Picture the “lone nut” on the dance floor. It takes guts to be the first follower to join the “lone nut” as you stand to be ridiculed. Then, as more people come onto the dance floor, the first follower transforms the “lone nut” into a leader. Each individual person adds credibility, and the movement is born.
One could say that John the Baptist was that “lone nut.” He was the flint that sparked the movement (his followers) to prepare the way for Jesus Christ. Jesus became the flame and light of the world. As ambassadors for Christ, our role may be the “lone nut”, the first follower, or to add credibility as we intensify the inferno of Love.
The power of Love is God!
