The Mystery of the Gospel

The world is full of mysterious things. Advances in science and technology can help us uncover some of the mysteries, but not all of them. The stages of conception and giving birth, our body, love, life, universe, gravitational force, matters happening in the most hidden part of the ocean are just some of the multitudinous things I consider a mystery.
In Paul’s letter, he imparted what Jesus revealed to him on the road to Damascus—the mystery of the gospel. This mystery is that through the gospel, the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus (v. 6). This means people who have never heard of God and those who have heard of him stand on the same ground before God.
Jesus sacrificed his life for us so that in him, we have the same inheritance, same mercy, same help, same righteousness, and same promises. We are all partakers of His promises through the gospel.
Does knowing this mystery change how you should value the people around you?
This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 3:6
