Receive Your Inheritance

Read 2 Samuel 22:31-37

We are anxious and worried because we do not fully understand our inheritance in Christ. Worse, we don’t believe in our inheritance. The children of Israel had been traveling to the land of promise under the direction of Moses. Because of their irresponsibility, what they could have completed in less than a month took many years.

Joshua, on the other hand, did not make the same mistake. To his credit, he believed God and began the process of inheriting the country.

How about you? Receive your inheritance. Do not measure what you can do by your ability; rather, measure it by God’s. Maybe you are afraid to take a leap of faith, you have doubts if things will still turn around for your favor, or you have lost hopes in being free from chains of your past or addiction. With God, all things are possible. Take a step and trust God. His presence is with you.
