Ambassadors for Christ

An ambassador is an official envoy who embodies the character and interests of his home country while following the laws and customs of the host nation. The apostle Paul is an ambassador for the kingdom of God. Paul saw the world through the perspective of a citizen of the kingdom of God-he was a new creation. His message was reconciliation and to pledge citizenship to the kingdom of God.

We are all called to become ambassadors for Christ. Let’s greet everyone with a smile. A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle. We are called to give glorify, honor, praise and thanksgiving to our God. In doing so, the Holy Spirit teaches us how to “outdo one another in honor.” Just imagine how the world would change if we invite Jesus Christ into every conversation and end each encounter with, “may God bless you.” Our ultimate home is heaven. Let’s walk the path of salvation with as many of God’s children as possible.
