Be Strong

Read Psalm 31

The load of everyday life concerns can weigh us down. David is reminding us to be strong and to strengthen our heart—we who hope in the Lord. David is encouraging others to seek what he has found in his relationship with God. We can always have the reason to be of good courage because our God supplies all our needs, including strength to face storms.

Like David, we can trust in the Lord because of God’s covenant love and immeasurable kindness. God’s love for us is steadfast. He who has made promises and kept them in the past is the same God we have now. What He has fulfilled and kept in the past, He will continue to do today and even in the future. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
