Devote Ourselves to Prayer

How can we devote ourselves to prayer?

Do we begin each day by smiling and giving thanks to God? Do we allow interruptions and a hectic schedule to hinder us from our most essential conversation each day, our intimate time with God?

Prayer is an offering of our desires to God in the name of Christ, with the help of the Holy Spirit, with confession of our sins and thankful recognition of his mercies. The essence of prayer is the expression of our reliance on God through requests.

God loves to be asked. Through prayer, we can communicate with Him at any time, anyplace, and about everything. It is incredible that the creator of the universe, God, loves us and desires a relationship with us. Let us pray to God for a humble and enthusiastic heart that always communicates with Him.
