Doing God’s Business

Read Luke 2:41-50

We are God’s people, and our job is to take care of his business. Still pondering what your purpose in life is? Our mission is to reflect God’s nature, an ambassador of his throne chamber, and a messenger of his word.

A worker who delights in his job does not ask why he is working in his company. He knows his role in the company; he knows his purpose. The same the goes with doing God’s business. We do not question why God made us, because we know our purpose.

Having this perspective and way of living will enable us to enter our last years knowing that we lived our lives well, and that we are a blink away from heaven.
