Find God!

The one who is least among all of us is the one who is the greatest. — Luke 9:48
St Vincent de Paul was well known for his love of the poor. St. He was born to a poor peasant family in the French village of Pouy on April 24, 1581. He would often say, “Go to the poor and you will find God.” He also reminded his followers to approach people with humility and love when serving them with reverence. This is where we will encounter God in them and truly discover that the least among us is actually the greatest.
St Vincent de Paul spent his life preaching missions to and providing relief to the poor. The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic organization that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society. One man’s vision powered by the Holy Spirit continues to open and heal the hearts of many across the globe. We, too, are called to be ambassadors for Christ. Amen, I say to you…
Thanks be to God!
