Gentle Woman, Quiet Light

Last month, Fr Ed celebrated his 31st ordination anniversary. The daily mass was attended by many to share is this special day. He has spent many of his 21 years in the Great Plains on Indian Reservations all for the glory of God. Our entrance hymn was “Hail Mary: Gentle Woman.”

It goes like this, “Gentle woman, quiet light, morning star, so strong and bright, gentle Mother, peaceful dove, teach us wisdom, teach us love.

You were chosen by the Father; you were chosen for the Son, You were chosen from all women and for woman, shining one.

Gentle woman, quiet light, morning star, so strong and bright, gentle Mother, peaceful dove, teach us wisdom, teach us love.

Blessed are you among women, blest in turn all women, too. Blessed they with peaceful spirits. Blessed they with gentle hearts.
