Last month, I spent a few weeks with my brother and his family in Antigua, Guatemala. What a blessing to spend time with a family that glorifies, honors and praises our Lord, Jesus Christ! We prayed before meals, before school, and before bed. It was pure joy to see my young niece and nephew being trained up the way they should go. We are a family of “huggers” and those were abundant during my stay. I miss those hugs.
We started a daily gratitude activity—writing what we were grateful for in the morning and reading them as we sat around the table after supper. We would guess who wrote the gratitude affirmation as we built up one another. It is in the small day-to-day activities that we nurture that love for one another. My brother and sister-in-law are truly doing the Lord’s work, being guided by the Holy Spirit.
Their home is full of LOVE and it is beautiful to witness the Holy Spirit guide them balancing grace with discipline.
Come Holy Spirit Come!
