I Don’t Really Understand

I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. - Romans 7:15 NLT
“I don’t know why I did it…”
This is what my daughter said when I asked her why she did the wrong thing she did. Can you relate to my 9-year-old daughter too?
The enemy does not exempt us from his evil schemes. Actually, the more we want to grow in Christ, the more the enemy will try to distract us and tempt us. The enemy can climb the highest monastery walls, infiltrate the deepest faith, and defile the purest home.
We need to raise our defense by recognizing who Satan is. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” You can face Satan by facing God and say, “Get behind me, Satan!”
And finally, never forget that God already forgiven you. There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
Receive God’s forgiveness.
