Inner Peace

Read Psalm 34:8-14

This is how simple it ought to be: we will not lack any good thing if we will seek the Lord. Can seeking God make our bank account overflowing? Can seeking the Lord heal us from any diseases? Can seeking Him bring peace to our life? Can seeking Him bring us out of our difficult situation now?

God alone is our security because He is in charge above all, His power never diminishes, He is sovereign, He never runs empty of blessings and provisions for us, His plans for us are good, pleasing, and perfect, He cares for us and will never leave us nor forsake us, He never changes, He does not slumber nor sleeps. These are only some characteristics of God. What do you know about God? Do you believe that He is this kind of God?

What we believe about God can make a vast difference on how we understand His ways, and eventually, His purpose for us. Knowing differs from believing. Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
