Love Always Hopes​

Read 1 Corinthians 13

While watching the news about public buses not complying with the government’s social distancing rules for the passengers, without any hesitation, I said, “What’s new with that? They will always be breakers of the traffic rules.”

To be honest, there are times when I feel frustrated with the people who find it so easy to be offenders of the law, specifically the traffic laws. Sometimes they just seem so hopeless.

The temptation of giving up on people is not something new to us. We sometimes give up, lose hope, and try to rather neglect even our own family or friends. I am very grateful that God is not like us who gives up on people. No matter how evil we might have been or how broken we are, God never gives up on us. I hope we will be encouraged by this wonderful news to remember that love always bears, believes, endures, and hopes on all things. Love believes the best of others and hopes the best for them.
