Martha or Mary?

Over the last 4 months, I have had more “free’ time on my hands and honestly felt I needed to be more of a Martha. The gift that God was giving me was not fully appreciated until recently when I realized God wanted me to be more like Mary. How did I realize this? Through attending daily mass and hearing this scripture and being open to the Holy Spirit’s gentle nudges.

This is the power of prayer; talking and listening to Jesus my guiding light. Now, I know God is privy to all conversations and meetings that surround my future. I am more at peace that He is in charge and I am willing to patiently wait for the doors to open. The world will tell you that busier is better. I trust God’s plan and each day awake with joy and eagerness to do his will.
