Rooted In Love

We are God’s appointed resting place as His children. It means He lives within us. God has chosen our hearts to be His home. Isn’t it amazing? We used to have messed-up, broken hearts, but God willingly gave us a new heart, along with our new nature in Jesus Christ, to dwell in.

I pray that this truth reminds us of our identity in Christ and empowers us to shine His light here on earth. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him (1 John 4:16). John 14:23 also says, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”

Let us ask God to help us be rooted in His love for us.
