The Promised Hope​

Read Hebrews 6:13-20

Where is your hope anchored?

Our scripture says we, who received the free gift of salvation God gave us through Jesus Christ, have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. I repeat, never let go, and hold fast to the promised hope. When God made a promise to Abraham, he swore by himself. He backed it with His own reputation, since it is impossible for God to lie.

We anchor our hope in the person and saving work of Jesus Christ. If our hope is anchored in Christ, it gives our soul security and stability. We will not be like a boat swayed by waves in different directions. We can have assurance of our salvation. God is so mindful of us that even from the beginning, He already has a redemption plan for us. So let’s live each day filled with hope and expectancy! God cares for us, and He is interested in each one of us!
