The Word of God is Alive and Active

Seeking and grasping the fear of the Lord requires intention and ongoing discipline. Fear of the Lord, like accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, is not a one-time event. It is a lifelong disposition and a continuous discipline that leads to transformation, spiritual maturity, and eternal life.

The easiest way to find wisdom is to read the Bible. See God’s Word as a silver or treasure. Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” The Bible is alive and powerful because it exposes our weaknesses and unbelief.
