Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:13

Daily devotional bible reading: Ephesians 6:10-17

Today is Veteran’s Day. Every Wellness Wednesday video presentation we salute our Active Duty and
Veteran’s. Freedom is not free. I thank my earthly father and my brother for their military service and all
men and women across the planet who have served to protect freedom. We are blessed in the United
States to have the world’s most powerful military to protect our freedoms and be a beacon of light for
many other nations.

As God uses us for his glory to “clean up” the evil in the world, it will be the United States Military that
ultimately enforces and preserves our way of life. Indeed, God is in control, yet he expects all of us to do
our part for his glory. Today and every day we salute our Veteran’s:

“Veterans are the light at the tip of the candle, illuminating the way for the whole nation. If Veterans
can achieve awareness, transformation, understanding, and peace, they can share with the rest of
society the realities of war. And they can teach us how to make peace with ourselves and each other, so
we never have to use violence to resolve conflicts again.” Thich Nhat Hahn

God bless our Veterans!
