Visitation Dream
Today's Daily Devotion - August 19, 2021

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. - Joel 2:28
It has been quite a while since I experienced a dream. During the early morning of July 23, 2021, that changed. I had a vivid dream of driving in a vehicle with my father whose 11th anniversary in heaven was on July 23. Dad looked great with a big smile. Wow, it gets even better. We were on a road to a statue of the Virgin Mary that was the size of the Empire State building. At the top of the hill, the road had a turn to the Virgin Mary as the main road continued to heaven. I woke up at the fork in the road.
I shared this dream with my mother and feel blessed to have experienced this visitation dream. What did it mean? There is always a “Godcident” and purpose for everything in life. The prophet Joel says, your old men will dream dreams. Is this a reminder of my approaching 60th birthday and/or that more dreams are to follow?
I thanked God for allowing me to visit my father and feels his love and encouragement on the Sacred Path- the path to salvation. God showed me that we are not alone as we walk the Sacred Path. Indeed, A vivid reminder that our divine mother, living and deceased family and friends, and our Savior Jesus Christ all are available to us on the path to salvation. We are never alone.
Never let go of the hand of Jesus!
