Walk With The Wise
Today's Daily Devotion - October 9, 2021

Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces. — Proverbs 13:20, MSG
“Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are,” says a quote. Though it is unfair to judge someone based on their circle of friends, there is still wisdom in selecting our group of friends.
Good company brings a lot of good and insight into one’s life. We will increase in wisdom when we choose to associate with wise men and women. On the other hand, if we choose to surround ourselves with individuals who are ungrateful, rude, and arrogant, their impact on us might lead us to destruction without us noticing it.
It is important to be wise by guarding ourselves at all times, carefully filtering which traits and practices we will allow ourselves to be influenced with. This does not mean we should despise the fool. There is still hope in them. I strongly believe God is not giving up on them as well. Hence, we should also pray for them and be kind to them.
Lord, lead me to the right people.
