What Are You Grateful for Today?

Today's Daily Devotion

March 28, 2023

By Dr. George Ceremuga

Team Love God has recently started a daily gratitude exercise. Remember, gratitude is the antidote to negative thinking. We are including gratitude exercises in our curriculum and workshops. Flip the switch and repeat, “Jesus, I need, trust, and love you.” Then you can offer your “attitude of gratitude.”

Here are seven scientifically proven benefits:

1. Gratitude opens the door to more relationships.

2. Gratitude improves physical health.

3. Gratitude improves psychological health.

4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.

5. Grateful people sleep better.

6. Gratitude improves self-esteem.

7. Gratitude increases mental strength and resiliency.

Gratitude encourages a conversation with Jesus. Gratitude strengthens our relationship with Jesus. Gratitude begets more gratitude.

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 5:16-18
