When You Forgive, You Heal​

Forgiveness is Love in Action- Indeed! Offering forgiveness to those who trespass against us allows us to heal. It is not optional. It is biblical and the way of Jesus Christ. What is also biblical is to let go of the trespass and continue to grow as a witness to the healing power of Jesus Christ. When God forgives, he makes a very important promise to us that we must also make when we forgive others.

God says, “I will forgive their evildoing, and their sins I will remember no more.” We are also reminded in 2 Corinthians 5:19 that God did not keep an account of their sins. Also, in Isaiah 43:25, “I even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.” It is through his love, grace, and mercy that he sets us free. God refuses to revisit or remind us of our forgiven sins.
