You Are a Shield Around Me

Read Psalm 3

We face different battles every day. That is why we should always put on the full armor of God. Ephesians 6:12, 16-17 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

The world will make you feel you are not good enough, unworthy or rejected. Ask God to shield you and help you hear his truth in your heart. God loves you and cares for you. He is your strength whenever you feel inadequate or when it seems like no one cares about you. Remember that your value is not dependent on the standards of the world. Your worth is rooted in Christ Jesus alone.
