Same Attitude Toward Others As Jesus

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had …” Romans 15:5 (NIV)

Read Romans 15:1-13

We all have difficult times. Some tests are more challenging than others. Our friend’s season may be more difficult than ours, or vice versa. Victories over our trials are not only God’s ways of displaying His love and presence in our lives; they are also God’s ways of molding us to be a testimony to others, sharing the comfort and strength we received from Him to those who are in need. Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification (Romans 15:1-2 NASB). God comforts us in all our troubles so that we can also comfort those in any trouble.

The Apostle Paul advises us to have the same attitude toward others as Jesus. How are we going to do it? We can always pray to God to create doors of opportunity for us to express His love with others and to prepare us while we wait. As we help our neighbor, our faithful God will give anything we require. Life’s challenges can be difficult in a variety of ways. But we can’t just concentrate on how difficult it is. Through our difficult circumstances, we may love and encourage one another. I am grateful to be a part of the Team Love God who is passionate about sharing the love of God with others through the Word of God, the Creator Model of Healthcare, and even through donations to different institutions. God is always excited to use us in all kinds of ways, big or small, to advance His kingdom here on earth.

Be a blessing today.
