The Power of Prayer

I recently traveled to Ireland to experience the people and culture of my ancestry. I was not disappointed. As a missionary disciple, I went out into the world to proclaim the gospel message of salvation through the Creator model of healthcare all for the glory of God! Jesus said, “These signs will accompany those who believe in my name, they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents with their hands and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick and they will recover.”

As I walked into my stay the host Deloris and shared the same love of Jesus Christ. As we were kingdom building, Davey the maintenance manager walked by. Deloris introduced me to him as he was experiencing right shoulder pain. Without hesitation, I offered a prayer and blessing using holy water that Deloris brought to me. I offered this prayer and blessing for healing for Davey acknowledging Jesus as the great physician, prayer as the best medicine, we are all responsible for our health and choices, and all healing comes from God.
