Convicted by the Holy Spirit

Recently a friend shared with me that one of our Diocesan Deacon’s announced he was battling pancreatic cancer. I have casually met this servant of the Lord and the Holy Spirit started working on me.
When you attend daily mass, God blesses your attendance. Soon thereafter, I happened to see Deacon at my parish noon mass and did not have the opportunity to visit with him.
The next Sunday, the Holy Spirit encouraged me to attend mass at Freedom Chapel on Ellsworth Air Force Base. This Deacon was assisting Father with mass and I was sitting in direct line of sight to him. Again, I did not have the opportunity to visit with him. Then, a few days later at a daily mass on the Air Force Base, I saw Deacon again. Third time is a charm. He did not stay for the luncheon and while speaking to another parishioner, I found out that Deacon owned a business outside the Air Force Base gate.
Perfect, so after lunch, I went to his business with today’s gospel verse in mind (God’s timely is impeccable), “They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” I offered a prayer of healing and a blessing which were both graciously received.
All for the glory of God!
