The 3:00 O’clock Hour Prayer
Today's Daily Devotion - April 11, 2022
By Dr. George J. Ceremuga
Father, into your hands I commend my spirit. - Luke 23:24
This were the last words uttered in a loud cry from Jesus. The Divine Mercy pray below is our reminder of Jesus’s unfathomable gift for the whole world.
“O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You.”
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
As an apostle of mercy, Saint Faustina’s mission is to:
1) remind the world of the great mercy of God as revealed in Sacred Scripture
2) teach us new prayers of devotion to The Divine Mercy, and
3) initiate a movement of apostles of The Divine Mercy who would lead others toward Him in the spirit of a childlike trust and confidence in God, and love of neighbor as expressed in spiritual and corporal works of mercy. In tomorrow’s devotion, we will review the Works of Mercy.
Jesus, I trust in you!
