The Greatest Direction God Set For Us

Life isn’t always a bed of roses. We are all vulnerable to grief, betrayal, heartbreak, rejection, and other negative emotions. Joseph did nothing wrong, according to the Bible, but his brothers betrayed him and hurled him into a pit out of jealously and fury. We all have periods when we feel hurt, vulnerable, and alone, just like Joseph did.

God later gave Joseph the opportunity to lead and save people, including his brothers, from famine. This merely demonstrates that Joseph’s trials and tribulations prepared him for his mission. God did not leave Joseph alone. May this wonderful news serve as an inspiration to all of us. God, who stayed with Joseph, is the same God who is still with us today.

Sometime we suffer grief and rejection not to break us but to lead us in the greatest direction God set for us. Let us place our faith in God’s providential hand to lead us closer to Him. May we choose to seek God’s love whenever we feel hurt or rejected, and allow Him to lead us according to His will.
